Digital Archive Created

We have added a Digital Archive to the centennial site. The digital archive will be a place that we will periodically upload materials relevant to the strike of 1912. Look for newspaper articles, photos and other documents that relate directly to the story of the strike, its themes and legacy. Most of the materials will be from the Lawrence History Center archives, others can be found floating around out there in the world wide web. Check it often and remember thatr it is under construction for now, its format may change.

Next Centennial Committee Meeting: WEDNESDAY June 1st

The next Bread & Roses Centennial Committee meeting will be Wednesday June 1, 2011 from 6-8pm. Note the change of day. We will be meeting on the first Wednesday of each month from this point forward. We decided on this change at the last meeting in the hopes that some people who have been unable to attend meetings will now be able to. Meetings will still be from 6-8pm and at the Lawrence Heritage State Park unless otherwise noted. Happy Spring!
